Company: Can You Dance? (CYD?)
Location: Hybrid (Office - Oak House B, Ransom wood, Mansfield, NG21 OHJ)
Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week. 18hrs total.
CYD? is the UK’s leading touring dance convention, connecting dancers, educators, brands, and creative professionals across the country. As we continue to expand our events and national reach, we are seeking a driven and dynamic individual to join our team and support the growth of our commercial partnerships.
We are looking for a highly proactive individual to drive new commercial opportunities for CYD?. This role focuses on sourcing new clients and partners, securing sponsorship agreements, and managing ongoing relationships with both new and existing stakeholders.
This position is ideal for a confident communicator with strong sales instincts, excellent relationship-building skills, and a passion for the performing arts industry.
Identify and source new business opportunities, including brands, partners, and sponsors aligned with CYD?’s audience and mission.
Secure sponsorship agreements and negotiate commercial partnerships to support company growth.
Build, maintain, and manage relationships with existing clients, partners, and sponsors.
Proactively seek new commercial avenues, using initiative and creativity to develop fresh opportunities.
Deliver confident, persuasive pitches both virtually and in person.
Work alongside internal teams to ensure effective fulfilment of partner deliverables.
Track performance, pipeline, and commercial activity, reporting progress regularly.
Represent CYD? at events, meetings, and industry opportunities when required.

A confident speaker, both in meetings and presentations.
Professional, personable, and excellent at building strong long-term relationships.
Commercially minded with strong negotiation skills.
Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Ideally experienced within the performing arts, dance, events, or entertainment industry (preferred but not essential).
Proven experience in sales, business development, or partnership management.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, dynamic team.
Flexible part-time role (3 days per week).
