CYD? spoke to The Worx College to learn more about their Newcastle-based Dance and Musical Theatre training.

Can you tell us the story behind The Worx College?

The Worx College is based in the heart of Newcastle City Centre. Our purpose built studios boast 3 floors of fully equipped dance studios, music rooms and drama spaces as well as a state of the art in-house theatre, well-being room, on site physiotherapist and cafe.

What is the mission and vision of your college?

Our courses are industry lead, creating professional and employable ‘triple-threat’ performers. Our incredible faculty ensure there is an energy like no other within our walls and make sure every student is seen, cared for and given individual attention.

What are some unique features of The Worx College that people might not expect?

Our Creative Director, Keeran Rose Greener, worked extensively in Musical Theatre, TV and Commercial. Keeran oversees the creative development of each student individually to ensure they are equipped for an ever evolving industry.

Our Course Lead, Bethany Coyne, ensures the students reach their full potential academically, giving 1-1 attention to every student which has ensured 100% success rate.

At The Worx College you are never just a number. Our Directors and specially chosen faculty make it our business to have a strong relationship with each student to ensure they receive the specialist training they need to succeed.
